In the Cantabrian language, “Cambera”, is the name that is given to the mountain paths that flocks of sheep, goats & cattle follow. The design of
these socks is a reflection of the sinuous “camberas” that are part of this
wonderful landscape.
The socks are knitted with wool from “Alpacas El Camino”, a beautiful mix
of 50% alpaca, 25% Merino y 25% nettle fibre. This yarn is perfect for knitting socks, as the nettle fibre provides the strength & stability that socks need, while the alpaca & merino provide the warmth & softness we all look on hand-knitted socks
“Alpacas El Camino” is a local project committed with environmental values
& which main goal is to create an honest, ethical & quality yarn.
The socks are knitted toe-up, so you can easily adapt the length of the foot and leg. It includes heel flap with German Short Rows turn of the heel…
The design is available in three circumference sizes. The length of the leg and foot are adjustable.
