DAGLAR

An easy pattern, the “Dağlar” socks, are inspired in by the magnificent mountains of Turkey.

The yarn I used comes from the Carranzana sheep & is the result of a project (MuturBeltz) that contributes to maintain the shepherds of the Karrantza Valley, helps to save the breed from extinction, protects the landscape & promotes local businesses. It is an ideal yarn to knit warm & impermeable accessories.

The sock pattern includes written descriptions, charts for the textured motif & an annex with photo-tutorials describing all the techniques used.

The socks are knitted toe-up, so you can easily adapt the length of the foot and leg. It includes heel flap with German Short Rows turn of the heel…

The design is available in three circumference sizes. The length of the leg and foot are adjustable.
