Knitted toe-up, with a heel flap & gusset construction, this socks feature complex-looking pattern that is surprisingly easy to knit. The design of the socks is inspired by the romantic designs of Art Noveau & the Pre-Raphaelite´s paintings.
The pattern is adapted from the beautiful book “Japanese Knitting Stitch Bible” by Hitomi Shida.
The yarn I used (100% Spanish merino yarn, from Retrosaria Serafina) is a non-superwash light fingering weight yarn, naturally dyed by Serafina.
The sock pattern includes written descriptions, charts for the stars, & an annex with photo-tutorials describing all the techniques used.
The design is available in three circumference sizes. The length of the leg and foot are adjustable.
