Shepherd´s Pie socks are inspired by the traditions (foods, clothings, songs..). of the Shepherd´s in the region of Extremadura.
The yarn I used, a 100% merino yarn from DehesaLana, is an ecological Merino wool from native sheep of the area of Extremadura. This is a heavy weight, non-superwash yarn ideal for textured knitting projects.
The socks are knitted toe-up, so you can easily adapt the length of the foot and leg. It includes heel flap with German Short Rows turn of the heel…
The design is available in three circumference sizes. The length of the leg and foot are adjustable.
